CrackSAT offers intensive contact classes for SAT Preparation in Madras, India. The SAT Preparation classroom course is designed to give you the extra edge for getting a high score in the SAT Reasoning Test. The SAT classroom program is a 5-weeks, 46 hours contact class module. Classes are scheduled in the evenings from Monday to Friday. Each session will be of two hours duration.
This batch will equip you to appear for the SAT Reasoning Tests to be held on May 3, 2008 or the one to held on June 7, 2008. SAT Classroom Training - From Basics to Advanced
CrackSAT's SAT prep courses start right from the basics and walk you through advanced topics in both Math and Verbal sections.
SAT MATH - The Quantitative Section
In Math (Quant), the SAT preparation class at CrackSAT covers topics in Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry. As part of the SAT Prep course, regular take home topic wise tests will be assigned at the end of each topic to help you master the concepts. The SAT classroom course at CrackSAT lays special emphasis on learning different math shortcut techniques that will save time while solving math problems.
Around 15 top level topics are covered in the theory classes. In each of the topics, basic concepts are taught and are followed by examples solved in class that are representative of questions that appear from these topics in the SAT test.
SAT Writing Section
The areas covered under this section would be Improving Sentences, Identifying Sentence Errors, Improving Paragraphs and Essay Writing. Rules of grammar and common usage will be taught in the class. Improvement of language and application of the rules of the language would be given more importance. The students will be asked to solve exercises in class with the faculty member taking them through the answers. Essay writing techniques and the rules of essay writing will be delved into in great detail with the help of sample essays.
SAT Critical Reading Section
The students will be trained to handle Passage Based Reading questions and Sentence Completion questions under this section. The topics will be covered from the basics and exercises will be solved in class to ensure that students get adequate practice. Learning to use your word power effectively will be addressed as part of classroom exercises for this section. The faculty member will take the students through the correct answers and explain the steps at arriving at the answers. The exercises solved in class will be representative of the questions asked in the test. Techniques and tips to solve the questions faster will also be covered in the class.
SAT Course Schedule
The next batch of CrackSAT's SAT Coaching class at Chennai, India starts on Monday, March 24, 2008. This is a weekday Batch and the duration of the batch is 5 weeks. Classes for this batch will be held at our Learning Center at Mylapore, Chennai.
The SAT intensive classroom prep course is a 46 hours program spread over 5 weeks of five 2-hour sessions per week. Classes will be held in the evenings between 1730 hours and 1930 hours.
Fees
The fees for the entire SAT Prep course is Rs.9500 + service tax = Rs.10,675 (Rupees Ten Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Five only).
